How long does a typical discovery run take?
Most discovery sweeps complete in 2 to 4 weeks, depending on target environment complexity. The 124 modules run in parallel, so a full IT estate scan across Azure, AWS, Active Directory, and M365 can complete within days for standard enterprise environments.
What cloud providers are supported?
ACQI scans Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud simultaneously. Multi-cloud and hybrid environments are handled natively — findings are aggregated into a unified asset inventory regardless of where workloads reside.
How does ACQI differ from a consulting engagement?
Consultants send questionnaires and produce a subjective report at the end of a multi-week engagement. ACQI runs 124 automated modules that extract real configuration data — no self-reporting, no estimation. Do I need Azure or AWS credentials for both companies?
Yes — ACQI requires read-only scanning credentials for both the acquiring and target environments. Credentials are used exclusively for discovery scanning and are never stored beyond the active engagement. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
How is pricing structured?
Pricing is scoped per transaction. Each deal — whether an acquisition, divestiture, or joint venture — is licensed independently. Annual enterprise licenses are available for firms with active portfolio programs. Contact us for a custom quote.
Is there a free trial?

What happens to the data after the engagement?
All discovery and migration data is retained for 90 days post-engagement for audit and compliance purposes. After 90 days, data is purged unless a longer retention period is contractually agreed. ACQI does not use engagement data for product improvement or benchmarking without explicit consent.
Does ACQI support divestitures and carve-outs?
Yes. The platform is purpose-built for M&A transactions of all types — full acquisitions, partial divestitures, joint ventures, and acqui-hires. The discovery modules map both the retained and carved-out environments, and migration planning handles the separation with the same rigor applied to integration.
